At the age of 28, McKennie has established himself as a versatile midfielder for the United States. He joined the ranks of Juventus in 2020 and was briefly loaned to Leeds United from January to June 2023. McKennie's ability to play various positions has made him an indispensable starter for the Turin club, and he has now become a seasoned veteran in the Juventus dressing room. Furthermore, McKennie and Ildiz have both scored 27 goals for Juventus, placing them at the top of the team's scoring charts.
