Montgomery emphasized, "This is a fantastic outcome for us initially. We are all well aware of the challenges this match presented, with the high humidity and the grueling journey we had to endure. Moreover, our opponents boast a strong lineup of exceptional foreign players, each with remarkable individual skills. Both teams held a 50% possession rate, and there were opportunities to shift the momentum in the first half. However, we showcased our self-assurance. I am immensely proud of everyone, especially considering our key players Spahic and Zhang Yuning are still in Beijing. We are currently engaged in a three-front battle, and despite the arduous process, the result is gratifying. I extend my gratitude to all our supportive fans, as we have heard your voices loud and clear. There is another crucial Super League match this weekend, and we will focus on our recovery. Fabio's goal was truly spectacular, and his performance as a substitute was outstanding. I am proud of every single player on our team."
